Coach Prime is entering a critical recruitment period and, with that, he might be saying goodbye to his son. However, he is now preparing to replace his son, Shilo Sanders, with another star player. The 3-star prospect, Jalen Hood-Schifino, has narrowed his choices to two schools: Colorado and Ole Miss, sparking increased interest in cornerbacks for both the Buffaloes and the Rebels.

As Sanders puts it, “We’re looking for someone who can come in and make an immediate impact. We need someone who can lock down that cornerback spot and help us take our defense to the next level.” The Buffaloes are also losing a key player with Shilo’s exit and the head coach wants to fill this void with anyone eligible.

Jalen: the top contender

Among other prospects on the team that Coach Prime would be happy about signing, Jalen takes pride of place. This has made him a prime contender to replace Shilo Sanders because scouts have been awed by his speed, agility, as well as ball-hawking skills. As for Hood-Schifino, either Colorado or Ole Miss could seal his services since the Buffaloes’ defensive reputation is intact while the Rebels are in an upward mobility phase. “We’re excited to have Jalen on our radar,” Coach Prime remarked. “He’s got the talent and work ethic to be a game-changer in our secondary.” Indeed, there is now a stiff battle for the signature of Hood-Schifino, with both universities striving to persuade the cornerback who would help them take their teams to another level.

National Signing Day is also approaching, therefore Coach Prime has vowed to make recruiting waves and acquire the best replacement for Shilo’s spot. Collegiate football fans have been intrigued by this prospect’s choice because it can impact the roster of either team.
