With the Chargers offering Harbaugh a tempting offer of $18 million per year over the next five years, the Falcons aren’t ready to let him slip away without another meeting. A second scheduled interview is a clear indication that Atlanta is truly interested in having Harbaugh as the new HC. But what about his interests?

After all the unveiling that has been happening since Jim Harbaugh led the Michigan Wolverines to the National Championship victory, maybe the question is no more of whether he’ll stay in college football or move to the pro level. It’s becoming more of whether he’ll join the Chargers or the Falcons. After all, he has thrown subtle hints that he has unfinished business in the NFL. “Winning football’s ultimate prize, the Super Bowl, that’s great,” he said.

After experiencing a successful stint as the San Francisco 49ers HC, Jim Harbaugh has interviewed for several NFL teams even in the past which shows that he still has an interest in the pro league. He previously said, “For me, it went back to Feb. 3, 2013, when our team in San Francisco got within 5 yards, one play, of winning the Super Bowl. Two years after that, I left the 49ers to come to Michigan and signed a seven-year contract. The seven years were up, and I wondered if that was the time, or if there would be a time, to go back and finish that.”

It’s clear that both the coaches are game changers and will be invaluable for any team they end up in. Only time will tell where Harbaugh and Belichick will be at the start of the next season, but what are your picks?
