The 41-year-old rapper isn’t young enough to be Coach Prime’s son but the bond they share is impeccable. The 56-year-old Colorado Buffaloes HC said of him, “I love Wayne to life like a friend and a son.”

Rapper Lil Wayne is a New Orleans native who has thrown his name into consideration to headline the Super Bowl halftime show in 2025. He previously expressed his desire to hold the spotlight at a Super Bowl event on Apple Music’s “Young Money Radio.” He said, “Super Bowl in New Orleans coming up too… I was just letting them know I’m from New Orleans… I was born there, so you know, just letting them know.” It’s only fair for Deion Sanders to back up his wishes given their bond.
