Love is in the air, and there’s a bundle of joy coming a special couple’s way! Florida State Seminoles quarterback, Jordan Travis’ brother, known primarily as a second baseman, made his mark in Major League Baseball, playing all four seasons with the Toronto Blue Jays, and his wife are embarking on the special journey of parenthood. 

The couple recently took to Instagram to share a series of adorable pictures that capture their pregnancy journey, which they call the “happiest moment” in their lives. However, life is not always a bed of roses. 

Devon Travis and Allison Travis are expecting! 

In February 2022, Devon and Allison Travis exchanged vows in a picturesque ceremony in Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur. Both exuded elegance, with Devon donning a striking white coat paired with black pants, while Allison radiated beauty in her white bridal gown, complete with a charming headpiece and a bouquet of pristine white roses. 

The couple has had a rocky road and has suffered pregnancy troubles. However, as shared on Instagram, they are finally days away from embracing “the biggest blessing of all.” The couple addresses the hardships they’ve been through, “after multiple back to back losses, lots of testing , and multiple surgeries, l feel you & understand the sadness & disappointment you are feeling,” but look forward to a brighter tomorrow. Allison showers words of affirmation and appreciation for Beau Devon for his constant support through their journey together, concluding with a heartfelt, “I love you so much.”

On February 24, 2021, Devon orchestrated a romantic proposal for Allison at the docks, a surprise she hadn’t anticipated. While she believed they were simply going boating, Devon had other plans, culminating in a heartfelt moment that would forever change their lives. However, the Travis family seems to be doing just as good in their professional endeavors as they are in their ones. 

Getting to know the Travis family 

Allison Travis serves as an Account Executive at Med-Lab Supply Co. Inc., a prominent medical supply store. Born Allison Lawson to Kevin and Kathy Lawson in Omaha, Nebraska, she shared her upbringing with her younger brother, Nick Lawson. In her role at Med-Lab Supply, Allison specializes in marketing Siemens medical imaging equipment to hospitals. She earned her degree in Health Sciences from the University of Missouri in 2015, laying the foundation for her successful career in the medical industry.

Meanwhile, Devon Travis, a former MLB player, was born on February 21, 1991, in West Palm Beach, Florida, to Tony and Tammy Travis. He played primarily as a second baseman for the Toronto Blue Jays for four seasons. Travis attended Palm Beach Central High School and Florida State University before being drafted by the Detroit Tigers in 2012. After making his MLB debut with the Blue Jays in April 2015, injuries eventually led to his departure from the team in 2019. Despite his setbacks, Travis left a notable mark with a .274 batting average and 35 home runs during his time in the league. He transitioned to a coaching role in the minor leagues in 2021.
