Deion Sanders is focused on prepping his players for the tough road ahead this offseason. After all, they will return to the Big 12 Conference after 13 seasons in the Pac-12 in the forthcoming season. A training regimen inspired by the Navy was specially curated to assist the Buffs. To say that the ‘challenge PT’ was too tough on the players would be an understatement. Listen to this special instructor saying, “We’re not going to put you in any position of danger at all, but you’re going to be put well outside of your comfort zone… on purpose!

It looks like only the toughest would survive in Colorado. Such an unconventional training activity, which included various water activities such as breath-holding and swimming with weights, is just one example. Training his players and testing their resilience is one thing, but the grind that they are facing now also saw tender moments of laughter among the young players. This is especially true when Bucky (Deion Sanders Jr.) exploited a moment of weakness concerning Shedeur Sanders, which is frankly hard to come by.

After completing the training, Shedeur Sanders climbed up the side, exhausted. His half-brother Bucky, who recorded the moment for Well Off Media on YouTube, couldn’t help but laugh at the visible exhaustion on his brother’s face. One fan highlighted Bucky’s reaction, commenting, “Bucky is hilarious ‘Shedeur about to die’ them boys were tired.”

However, the training was a breeze for two-way star Travis Hunter, who showed no signs of exhaustion. It’s a different story for most players, including Shedeur Sanders. Coach Prime imparted this training to the Buffs, hoping it would build the players’ confidence before the 2024 season. But fans can’t help but laugh at the cost of Shedeur Sanders’ tiredness.

Deion and the Colorado Buffaloes took a surprising step in January by embracing the Semper Fi spirit and adopting the US Marine Corps rigorous training techniques to improve their fitness levels. The goal was to increase stamina, energy, and overall physical efficiency on the field. With this new dedication to physical prowess, the team seemed ready for a strong comeback in the upcoming season.

Bucky’s reaction leaves fans in stitches

As Deion Sanders Jr.’s video got traction, fans entered the comments section to join in the entertainment, and one fan commented, “Bucky laughing had me cracking up. Welcome to the Military gentlemen.” The reference was, of course, to the Sheduer’s tiredness at the end of the training. Fans quickly also mentioned that Hunter “meanwhile” was only having fun while others were deep in the grind.

Another fan who understands the siblings’ dynamics said of Bucky’s laughing episode over Sheduer Sanders’ breathlessness, “It be your own brothers that do you the worse.” The brothers are invaluable parts of the squad: one is a media titan who captures the everyday happenings of the Buffs, while the other is an astute athlete responsible for the team’s high spirits. Another fan posted, “Especially when he was talking about Shedeur.” As soon as Shedeur Sanders emerged from the water, Bucky said between laughs, “This is hilarious. That boy tired as hell. Look at him.”

The Buffs QB did little to conceal his exhaustion as he looked visibly tired, which prompted another person to write, “Aye yo Shedeur was tied boss and Bucky laughing made it even more hilarious. Shedeur had that look in eyes like his life was flashing before his eyes.” What made the comment funnier was that it highlighted the struggle of players in the off-season.

But jokes aside, only time will tell if this intense training will bear fruit in the long run when the regular season begins.
