Jim Harbaugh’s team has a lot of talented players, but the debate for the best continues to ensue. The 60-year-old’s transfer to the Chargers was met with a lot of pomp and celebration. After months of speculations about his future with the Wolverines, he ultimately decided to leave for the NFL and is currently a hot topic in the world of football.

The Chargers’ team is full of stars like Austin Ekeler, Keenan Allen, Quentin Johnston, etc, but one that decidedly stands out is Justin Herbert. He is 25 and was the 6th overall pick for the Chargers in 2020 after a fantastic season with Oregon. With many fans claiming that he is one of the greats, former Packers’ WR calls him the best and receives an earful in response.

On the latest episode of the ‘Speak’ show, the hosts dived deep into Harbaugh’s desires of wanting to win several championships. They spoke at great lengths about the Chargers’ future and eventually came to the topic of Harbaugh’s coaching career. James Jones shot the first arrow and said that Justin Herbert is the best quarterback that Harbaugh has ever coached, even surpassing Andrew Luck.

Jones said, “Justin Herbert is the best quarterback that he has ever coached in his coaching career yes. I don’t care if you’re talking Andrew Luck. I don’t care, he’s the best quarterback yes.” This invoked a stormy response from the other hosts, who responded by saying, “He had a stronger arm, he’s just as good a processor, he could run just as well. Tough as Nails, super tough. He played with an elated kidney? What does that even mean? Andrew Luck have 40 tugs bro and 16 picks. 11 and 5. 11 and 5 11 and 5, Andrew Luck’s first three years.

No doubt about the fact that Harbaugh was one of the best coaches in the NCAA, but the NFL is known to be rather merciless.
