Xavier Worthy and JJ McCarthy raised their NFL Draft Stocks with their performance

Ian Rapoport recently laid down his reports on some of the prospects who raised their stocks during the NFL Combine. He said, “Hard to imagine anyone raised their stocks more than Xavier Worthy who led this thing on fire… 4.21 40-yard dash.” Worthy surpassed everyone in the NFL Combine by setting a new record in the 40-yard dash. His speed will be a valuable asset for any NFL team, making him a potential first-round pick.

Rapoport also said of JJ McCarthy “I would say there’s a pretty good chance that he’s the fourth QB taken a lot closer to the top 3.” The Michigan product did not enter the 40-yard dash due to hamstring tightness. But he showed off his potential by delivering the hardest throw recorded by the QBs with 61 mph, second only to retired Tennessee QB Joe Milton III. His Saturday throw is highly likely to raise his NFL Draft stocks. He may also get one more chance to prove himself when he runs the 40-yard dash at Michigan’s pro day.
