Before the Colorado Buffaloes spring football game kicks off, QB Shedeur Sanders soaks in the best in the offseason with his Miami “business trip.” In addition to putting in work along with Cam Ward and Kyron Drones on the beach as they practiced throwing, the 22-year-old also splurged on luxury, making the most out of his trip before the field took the front seat.

Meanwhile, as Shedeur Sanders made memories in South Florida, another hot discussion is seemingly taking shape in Denver. With the Denver Broncos losing three players in Russell Wilson, Justin Simmons, and Jerry Jeudy, and no major signings recorded yet, there is speculation that the Broncos might be trying to tank for Shedeur Sanders, who will be entering the 2025 NFL Draft.

Shedeur Sanders flexes ‘GTA edition’ trip in Miami

In his latest Instagram upload, Shedeur Sanders posted a bomb video clip of himself during his Miami trip and captioned, “Legendary mode GTA EDITION.” The reel splendidly captured his experience, from his practice with fellow signal callers to his grand yacht ride along the 305 coastline as he dived and cruised. And the fun and luxury didn’t end there, as he boarded a private jet to fly back home to Boulder.

If you’re wondering how the GTA edition is taking center stage for Shedeur Sanders right now, it’s because of a post he recently posted on Instagram where he was captured in an aerial shot as he sat at the table on a terrace by the beach. A fan had commented on how strikingly it resembled Rockstar’s GTA graphics. This potentially provoked the football star to drop the legendary GTA Edition mode. But when he’s back in Colorado, it’s going to be football all over again with the interesting situation that the Broncos are in the middle of.

Are the Broncos eyeing Shedeur Sanders in the 2025 NFL Draft?

According to a recent report by Blue Bloods Bias, “The Denver Broncos are reportedly trying to TANK for QB Shedeur Sanders.” There are rumors that the Broncos may likely undergo a “COMPLETE rebuild,” which will result in them finishing last in the 2024 season, as per many experts. This will give them a chance to reap the first pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, where they could choose Colorado’s own product in Shedeur Sanders, who could be a potential No. 1 pick.

CU Buffs QB coach Darrell Colbert nodded his affirmation at the rumor, saying, “I think it’s a no-brainer that he’ll be a top-five (draft) guy or a top-three guy, just based on what team has what ( at quarterback). I think he’s a generational talent.” Shedeur Sanders managed to record impressive stats in 2023 despite challenges, including working under four different OCs in four years. He recorded 3,230 yards and 27 TDs with just three interceptions, even though he was sacked 52 times last season due to his team’s grim offense. What are your thoughts on Shedeur Sanders’ chances as the top 1 overall prospect in 2025?
