He loves to golf, he loves to hunt, he loves to fish.” That’s what Deion Sanders said of gold-jacket Warren Sapp when he was first hired as a Colorado staff. And now, days after coming back to Colorado for the fall camp following his eventful stay in his hometown, Sapp is embracing his love for his hobby and it’s not fishing.

Coach Prime is also back from a lavish solo trip to Mexico in one of the world’s top premier resorts at Viceroy Los Cabos. From enjoying the serene beaches to immersing himself in the luxury of the pristine hotel which features a pool on the top deck, he labeled the whole experience as an “awesome excursion.” But now that the fun phase has come to an end, hard work and effort are going to take the forefront.

This is a big year for Colorado with them transitioning from the Pac-12 to the Big-12. Also, this season will mark the last year for some of the Buffs’ star players like Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter in college football who will be joining the NFL next year. As top prospects for the 2025 NFL Draft, a lot of pressure and effort is going to go into the Buffs games this season. They’ll begin with an opener against FCS powerhouse North Dakota State on August 29.
