He played sparingly last season, completing 2 of 5 passes for 40 yards. Next season, he’ll serve as the backup QB to Quinn Ewers before starting in 2025. Despite being a potential top 5 to grace the cover of this highly touted game, his decision to opt out comes as a real shocker.
