Who is Deion Sanders? Deion Sanders is a former NFL cornerback, MLB outfielder, and present-day college football coach. Nicknamed Prime Time and &#8216;Neon Deion&#8217; during his collegiate football career, Sanders won 2 Super Bowl rings during his 14 years in the National Football League. Deion Sanders&#8217; Early Life, Family, and College Life Born on August 9, 1967, Deion Sanders resided in Fort Myers Florida with his parents—Connie Sanders and Mims Sanders. Since he was a kid, Sanders had a strong inclination toward athletics and played a variety of sports like football, baseball, and track and field.
