C.J. Stroud hasn’t forgotten about his roots in college football and made sure that the fans realize that. The 22-year-old is the quarterback for the Houston Texans and made a name for himself in the NFL. He got drafted in 2023 and was the second overall pick, which shows his dominating career.

Before being drafted by the Houston Texans, Stroud played for the Ohio State Buckeyes in the NCAA. However, the team didn’t win a lot of championships during his time with them from 2020 to 2022. With their last national championship coming in 2014, the Buckeyes have seen a drought when it comes to winning the league. Even though Stroud couldn’t lead the team to a natty, he still defended them with pride as Fred Taylor spoke against him.

In the latest clip that saw C.J. Stroud defending Ohio State Buckeyes for not winning the national championship during his seasons, things got a bit heated up between him and Fred Taylor. Fred Taylor was the running back for the Florida Gators during the 1990s and 2000s. In the words of the fans, he is every bit of a legend, but Stroud didn’t hold back from dissing him when he realized that he chose to go to Florida instead of a team like Alabama.

Stroud said, “It’s tough to look back and be like man we should’ve won it all. Yeah no doy but sometimes it just doesn’t shake like that. So where did you go? Come on man, what is we talking about? — I thought you went to Bama or something. Yeah what have ya’ll done? Nothing. LSU? Maybe the only one good team. I thought you was at Bama or something. Like what are you talking about?” Thus, while he blatantly disrespected the Florida Gators, this isn’t the piece of news that Stroud has been making the rounds for. As it turns out, the youngster is extremely good at several sports, including the likes of MLB, basketball, and football, of course.
