He defended the poor season by confirming that he expects his team to improve. Sanders also expressed disappointment with some results and confidence in his squad emerging as potential dominators in the upcoming season.

While discussing Colorado’s humiliating 56-14 loss against Washington, Fallon asked Sander, “Does any of this surprise you?” To which he replied, “We got our butts kicked on the field. I expect greatness, man, I expect to dominate. I mean, we got our butts kicked on the field.”

This shows the mentality he has been trying to instill in the team despite some harsh results. The losses prevented them from competing in the post-season. Nonetheless, Coach Prime’s team had more than positive takeaways from his first season, with critical recruits joining the team and young talents developing to set a strong foundation for a new season, with an improved mentality and fighting spirit.

After an unsuccessful first entire season, Deion Sanders had more than enough to learn from his experience with the team. His first season was highly hectic with tough choices, from rotating players to saving injuries. To this, he had a hilariously motivational message: “Don’t let your appearance cause any interference in what’s about to happen. You are him. You are all that. I don’t care what nobody says, baby!
