The Buffaloes face spring portal exodus

Following the controversial departure of 5-star cornerback Cormani McClain, who criticized the Buffaloes for “playing for the clicks,” Coach Prime has come under fire. The exit of over 15 players through the spring transfer portal has only exacerbated concerns about Sanders’ coaching methods. While Coach Prime’s winter portal saw considerable success, with the addition of 16 new offensive and eight new defensive players ranking CU at No. 22 on 247Sports, the spring portal has presented a different narrative for Deion Sanders.

The Colorado Buffaloes are facing a notable departure from their roster, with defensive lineman Chazz Wallace, defensive back Jaden Milliner-Jones, offensive lineman Savion Washington, and offensive lineman Isaiah Jatta all entering the transfer portal. This follows safety Myles Slusher’s departure last week.
