Deion Sanders already called next year the “season of expectations” compared to the season of hope for the 2023 one. The change began with the recruiting masterclass that the HC gave while absorbing talented players within the Colorado Buffaloes. CFB Insider Bruce Feldman also highlighted Deion’s recruiting prowess on the Rich Eisen show. He said, “Even if they’re not elite linemen, they’re better than probably what they had….I think Shedeur is really good and I think they do have good skill guys around.”

The goal of entering the playoffs seems clearer for the 2024 season as the Buffs have a terrific set of offensive players. As voiced by Feldman as well, the side just needs to perform well together not just in patches. Talking about expectations, Bruce opined that the side was awful in the offensive line last year and must look to turn things around the next year.
