Considering his sons Shedeur Sanders and Shilo Sanders’ last season in college football and his own underwhelming performance, there is no room for error this year as it could make or break their futures. With the latest hiring of Warren Sapp and George Hegamin, Coach Prime’s coaching staff of 43 members includes 16 coaches who were either NFL players or coaches. But now, he’s teasing fans with another hint about a possible hiring of an NFL veteran.

Adalius Thomas played in the NFL for 10 seasons with the Baltimore Ravens and the New England Patriots as a linebacker. He recently paid a visit to Deion Sanders and the Buffs. With his visit and Coach Prime’s subtle hiring hints, fans can only wonder and speculate if he’ll be signing yet another NFL veteran after Warren Sapp and George Hegamin.

Coach Prime adds two NFL veterans to the Buffs roster

The more the merrier, and the greater their experience in the pro league, the better it is for Colorado’s future. After a long wait, Warren Sapp finally joins Coach Prime’s staff as a senior quality control analyst after spending 13 seasons in the NFL, primarily with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He delivered a heartfelt message of love and appreciation to Deion Sanders during his introductory meeting, saying, “I’ve been a Deion Sanders fan since I was 12 years old. So we all here for the man. Let’s go riding. Championship time!

And he’s not the only NFL veteran joining the Buffs. Coach Prime is also joined by his former Dallas Cowboys teammate George Hegamin who’ll be serving as the new director of leadership and engagement. He won a Super Bowl in his seven seasons of playing in the NFL. While the teaser about Adalius Thomas remains a mystery, the Buffs seem to be in good hands even as of now with 16 NFL veterans giving their best to uplift and grow them.
