Alexander Stoyanovich impresses the Buffs’ stars with a powerful kick

On May 15, former South Lyon Michigan standout Alexander Stoyanovich pledged his commitment to Deion Sanders and the Buffs as their kicker. His announcement was met with awe and excitement from some of the program’s top players. After Stoyanovich posted a video of himself effortlessly kicking a field goal from the logo at the Buffs training facility, DL Chidozie Nwankwo shared the tweet, expressing his amazement with a resounding, “Gahhhhhhhh Damnnnnnn.” OL Kahlil Benson also chimed in, issuing a warning to their opponents, “Boyyyy I Know The Buffs Gonna Be A Prrrrobbbleemmmm This Year.”

Alexander Stoyanovich, with an impressive personal best record of a 67-yard field goal, has seamlessly blended in with the Colorado brotherhood since his announcement. He is active on the Buffs updates and was even present during the NCAA-mandated academic orientation, showing his zeal to participate in the program. With the talent that he’s bringing to Colorado, Deion Sanders might as well take one hurdle out of his mind.

After losing so many players in the transfer portal, UNLV TE Charlie Williams gave Deion Sanders and Colorado new hope by becoming the first signee this spring. Following this, the Buffs managed to land talented players like DL Rayyan Buell, RB Dallan Hayden, EDGE Daylon Hayes, and OL Payton Kirkland, among others. With Stoyanovich’s addition, he became one of the best long-range kickers in Buffs history.

Alexander Stoyanovich will join fellow talents Jace Feely and Alejandro Mata heading into the 2024 season. Will Coach Prime and the Buffs be able to compensate for the loss of their players with their new weapons? Stay tuned for their kickoff game against North Dakota State on August 29 to see how it goes.
