When Cormani McClain left Colorado on a sour note, people wondered about his future. But seeing him at Florido was like a ray of hope. Trouble hasn’t left his side, though. His behavior issues walked with him as he entered the gates of Florida. At the same time, McClain also made sure to show a side people don’t get to see often.

McClain was part of the 2024 Balance 180 summer camp- a nonprofit organization catering to children of all needs. He posted a photo of himself with the kids at the program on X and wrote, “What a day at Balance 180’s summer camp! Enjoyed talking and playing games with kids of all abilities.”

This noble act won many hearts, including his own mother Kaishay, who commented, “Proud of you baby.” Now, controversies may come and go, but one thing always stays – It is Cormani McClain’s mother’s support.

Balance 180 summer camp is an inclusive program for children with special needs and developing children. Aimed at providing these kids opportunities to play games, make crafts, and learn dances, among others. In her latest tweet, Kaishay not only showed love to her son once again but also solidified his commitment to Florida by simply posting a photo of him in the Florida jersey.

When it comes to his career, things haven’t been as great. For instance, his late show-up to the Gators’ practices is something people were already anticipating. After all, he showed similar behavior at Colorado and that’s something Deion Sanders had a problem with.

But these issues were also seen when the player was in Lakeland. His high school coach, Keith Barefield, had said earlier this year, “That was a lot of work that I had to do getting him to start doing the right thing. … He’s a kid that grew up and always got away with things because of how good an athlete he was.”

And it seems that his behavioral patterns are simply repeating once again.

Has Cormani McClain been suspended from Florida football?

Cormani McClain took his behavioral issues with him to Florida when he left Colorado. There had been talks of discontentment among teammates with his unpunctuality over the weeks. Strong rumors even surfaced suggesting that he “got kicked off” from the team by coach Billy Napier, but fortunately for his fans, that last bit might not be true.

At SEC Media day 3, this was confirmed by Napier himself, who added, “He (McClain) is doing fine. A lot of this gets blown out of proportion. He’s a young player. Obviously, we’re well aware of his history.”

In addition to McClain’s agent and Napier slamming the rumors about him being kicked out, Ryan Koenigsberg shared his thoughts on the DNVR podcast on July 23. RK opined, “I think he’s suspended. Don’t know that, I just think! People who are saying he’s off the team are kind of right. The coaches who are saying he’s not off the team are kind of right. I’ve seen this happen a million times with players who are kind of in a limbo state.”

However, when rumors about McClain’s issues were at their peak, Coach JB blamed Napier for not being strict enough and lacking experience. He insinuated that the coach was a weak leader. Well, all said and done, it would be interesting to see if Cormani McClain experiences any more behavioral issues in Florida.
