Recently, NFL Hall of Famer and college football Hall of Famer Deion Sanders joined Colorado college as their new head coach. In his press recent conference as the new HC of the Colorado Buffaloes, he promised the fans that he would bring glory days back once again. Although Sanders made the Jackson State SWAC divisional champion in 2021, many fans criticized him for leaving the team and joining the Colorado Buffaloes. Recently, Sanders broke his silence regarding all the criticism he has been receiving with a message on social media.

Deion Sanders posts powerful message after receiving criticism for taking the Colorado Job

Earlier, he took to Twitter and posted, Why do u consistently try to please what can’t be satisfied! Why try endlessly to explain the whispers of God? Why do u need the approval or validation of persons standing in opposition of u. The goal is to please God & have him say well done thy faithful servant. Go!#CoachPrime.

Indeed, that was a powerful message from Sanders, as he was possibly trying to answer all his haters. Notably, ESPN sports analyst Bomani Jones recently talked about him, as he did not blame him for taking the Colorado job, as they probably increased his salary massively. However, he believed that Sanders should not have made all those promises to Jackson State and the fans.

“He sold a dream and then walked out on the dream. People have the right to be critical of that… He did a lot of good work while he was at Jackson State,” Jones said. Jones also believed that Sanders did all that for himself, which helped the Jackson State in the process.

Earlier this year, Sanders decided to donate half of his salary to improve the quality of the facilities of Jackson State. Many praised him for his tremendous gesture. Apart from the gesture, he took Jackson State to a new level. When he first took the job in 2020, he struggled a little bit initially. However, he did his magic in 2021 as the JSU won their first SWAC conference title after 2007. He continued his good work in 2022 before leaving the team. They have won the 2022 SWAC conference title as well.

Now, he is taking over as the head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes and fans will be hoping for a similar sort of result that he achieved at Jackson State.
