He’s all hat and no cattle – a saying that is definitely not true for Travis Hunter. Travis Hunter recently made headlines with his first appearance at the PBR World Finals at Cowtown Coliseum in Fort Worth, Dallas by surprising John Crimber who regards him as his “favorite college player.” Not to mention, at only 18, Crimber is the youngest rookie to enter the PBR World Championship.

However, Hunter is making headlines for a different reason this time and it is for his new cowboy look, rightfully in the spirit of the PBR World Championship. Hunter was ecstatic to be part of the PBR event, the treat from John Crimber being an additional interest boost. The excitement, of course, was evident in his style. Alas, some people, including Coach Prime, were fans, while other NFL Legends weren’t digging the new look. However, that didn’t hinder Hunter’s spirit who later said First time, definitely not my last.” about the event.

Travis Hunter gets mixed responses with his cowboy look

Looks like Hunter has a thing for cowboys and his IG post from May 12th proves it. Deion Sanders himself couldn’t resist praising his style, simply commenting, ‘Clean.’

Travis Hunter’s country look also stole the heart of his fiancée, Leanne she commented, “My little country boy.” However, while the comments section overflows with appreciation, not everyone finds this new style suitable for the college football star. NFL Hall of Famer Terrell Owens delivered his hilariously raw opinion with one word: “Nope!!!!!” followed by a laughing emoji. However, this wasn’t the only highlight of the event. Hunter even surprised the PBR World Champion, John Crimber.

John Crimber, the current second-ranked player in the PBR world rankings stunned as usual at the event. While giving his pre-game interview, Hunter came up behind Crimber to surprise him. Delighted, Crimber exclaimed, “It’s my favorite college player!”.

Safe to say, the fans couldn’t get enough of this wholesome reaction. However, it did not end there. Previously, Crimber promised Hunter that he would do the well-known Heisman Trophy pose if he was successful in his ride. Being a man of his word, Crimber did, in fact, strike the iconic pose. This was after he got the “Brown Bomber” bull by scoring a whopping 89.75.
