The Buffaloes are sharpening their horns, and Deion Sanders is the knife to the team. They owe it to themselves and the fans to redeem themselves this upcoming season and Coach Prime is making sure that no lazy efforts go uncalled for. It is hopefully going to be Colorado’s Spring Ball this year and with Deion’s pep talk hyping the players up, it is apparent that the Buffs are going to give it their all.

The Buffaloes had a disappointing run last season when they finished at the bottom of the table with a 4-8 record. And now that the Spring Ball draws near, it will give Deion a good chance to assess the players and gauge any loose ends that might deter the team’s overall performance. This is how Deion issued an ultimatum to his players to bring out the beast from within them and hopefully scale the team to a phenomenal level.

Deion Sanders’ mighty words for his players as they prepare well for the upcoming Spring Ball

On the latest episode of the ‘Well Off Media’ show, the Colorado Buffaloes players could be seen training extra hard as the Spring Ball draws near. While the initial part of the video saw the players having a bit of merry fun, the latter part of the video saw a strong Coach Prime motivating his squad to be the best version of themselves.

Deion spoke to the players on a personal level and told them of his expectations from them for the Spring Ball. He said, “You gotta do your job, you got to do your thing. Something got to separate you and figure it out. The standard is the standard. When we catch folks not living up to the standard, they done. We ain’t playing. Do you understand that?” It is all work and no play for the roster as Deion has set the bar for his players’ performance and rest assured, the Buffs will be depicted in a different light in their upcoming games. Thus, while it is clear that he expects the absolute best from his players, Deion didn’t exactly shy away from an intense workout himself, as seen in his recent Instagram post.

Deion Sanders and his intense running exercises draw amazement from the fans

In a recent Instagram post that has since garnered over 22,000 likes, Deion could be seen huffing and puffing after he recovered from a hardcore running exercise. He ran 100 yards over 10 times, which was his first time attempting the crucial workout drill. Moreover, with only 10-second rests in between, it’s almost shocking to believe that Deion is almost 60 years old.

He explained his reasons for working out so ardently saying, “On the book tour, I had morning show. I had a plethora of shows to do. There was one particular suit; I just knew I was gonna kill with it. I bust a button off the pants.” Additionally, he captioned the post by saying, “Can’t be Handsome in the face and BIG in the waist! The devil is a liar.” Thus, as the team prepares harshly, Deion isn’t refraining from working out as much if not more. This just might be a new Colorado Buffaloes headed our way and the fans couldn’t be more excited.
