Deion Sanders just missed another major “Deiondra Sanders milestone” moment. Earlier, it was her gender reveal party in May. And this time, it’s his daughter’s surprise engagement! 

Deiondra Sanders, expecting a baby boy in August, threw a “sip and paint” baby shower on July 13. But the day took a turn for the unexpected when her R&B beau, Jacquees, whipped out a surprise fit for royalty — a giant diamond ring! Jacquees melted hearts with a mini-speech, pouring out his love and sharing memories with everyone. 

It was a heartwarming moment perfectly captured by Deion Sanders Jr. through his Well Off Media video. Even their half-brother, Shilo, joined the celebration. Now, Bucky couldn’t resist capturing their mom, Carolyn Chamber’s reaction, panning the camera toward her and asking, “That’s your daughter getting married!” Her response? A beaming smile and a heartfelt, “I feel good. It’s a beautiful thing.”

Deion’s ex-wife has known about the brewing surprise for a while. She kept most of the family in the dark about the big news. “I kept a secret… I didn’t tell nobody but my baby,” she revealed, playfully pointing at Deion Jr. It looks like Coach Prime was the one left out of the loop, surprised by his son and ex-wife.

While Deion hasn’t chimed in yet, his ex-wife is showering her Instagram with “Deiondra blessings.” She’s practically bursting with pride, posting pictures of Deiondra’s engagement rings alongside radiant baby bump photos. Jacquees’ mom even got in on the action, sharing sweet hugs with her son in celebration.

It was a double celebration for Deiondra Sanders — a baby shower that transformed into a surprise engagement celebration. And she’s definitely elated.

Deiondra Sanders might’ve been bummed her dad missed her big day, but her mom and brother Bucky were there for her every step of the way. From pregnancy announcement to gender reveal and now, they’ve been her rock. This time, they even kept a giant secret — Jacquees’ proposal!

Deiondra and Jacquees have been on and off since last year, but with her pregnancy news in March, they got closer and even moved in together. Jacquees hinted at this journey in his heartfelt proposal speech: “We’ve been through so much in a short time,” he recalled their first FaceTime call and even how she’d bring her brothers to his concerts. He smoothly turned the poolside baby shower into his proposal stage.  Who knew having a “Star Is Born” cake and painting onesies would lead to a ring moment?  Deiondra herself admitted, “I was so surprised. I would have never thought of it!”
