Derrick White’s Buff pride runs deep. He even took his Celtics teammate Jaylen Brown to see Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes last year. White talked about the electric atmosphere in Boulder since Coach Prime’s arrival, and you could practically hear the Buff pride in his voice. This Deion effect seems to be crossing sports boundaries – maybe that’s why the Celtics surprised White with that sweet Coach Prime gear.

Why is Coach Prime a beloved athlete?

Deion Sanders wasn’t just dominating fields but rewriting the record books. For 14 seasons, he shut down receivers like nobody’s business, earning All-Pro honors year after year. He’s the only athlete ever to play in a Super Bowl and a World Series and the only one to hit a home run and score a touchdown in the same week. He’s one of just a handful who won back-to-back Super Bowls with different teams and even scored touchdowns in six different ways. No wonder some consider him the most outstanding cornerback or even the best defensive player.
