Deiondra Sanders and partner Jacquees had the best times of their lives a few days back at their baby gender reveal party. After being divided into two groups: Team Boy and Team Girl, the Sanders family is now celebrating the news of a healthy baby boy. And this revelation went in the favor of the Jacquees who had been hoping for a boy all along. 

As Deiondra Sanders and Jacquees celebrated the news of their baby boy, Coach Prime dropped a belated congratulatory message to the couple saying, “Congratulations on the Little Engine!” We’re not sure if Deiondra Sanders likes the nickname but she goes beyond to assure everyone that the little engine isn’t going to be too tittle.

Deion Sanders couldn’t grace Deiondra Sanders’ baby gender reveal party with his presence. But he found time to post a heartwarming clip of himself showering love and respect to the couple. Deiondra Sanders uploaded a video of her father on her IG story where he said, “Much love, much respect, and I’m proud of my big, big baby girl, she’s gonna have a little boy. So the little engine’s gonna be a little boy, which I’m excited.” To top off the excitement, the 32-year-old wrote, “He gone be tall watch lol.”

The nickname “little engine” came into being in April when Deiondra Sanders and Jacquees were touring Europe. When she posted a photo of the singer with the caption, “The world is yours to explore; go conquer it,” it caught Coach Prime’s attention who commented, “I pray he does. And y’all have no idea how much I pray for y’all. Especially Yo Lil Engine.” Deiondra Sanders took this cheeky blessing well but she was sure that the “little engine” was going to be a tall boy, proving both her father and brother wrong.

A short or tall baby boy?

The question about the baby’s potential height crept up in March when Deiondra Sanders shared her baby’s sonogram with Coach Prime and brother Deion Sanders Jr. Amidst Deion Sanders’ football/soccer joke, Junior came forward to express his thoughts and playfully said, “It’s definitely not going to be tall.” But Deiondra Sanders soon had the chance to take the last word. 

In her 18th week into her pregnancy, Deiondra Sanders underwent her first baby’s anatomy scan in the company of her mother and Jacquees, who is 5’5. She later excitedly revealed about her 10-ounce baby, “The Doctor even said the arms are measuring LONGER so we may have a tall baby y’all!” Hopefully, she gets what she’s been praying for.
