USC Trojans WR Brenden Rice aims higher than victory

The 21-year-old star player recently posted a series of photos on Instagram that displayed Rice in both casual attire and in the Trojans’ jersey. But while there is nothing out of the ordinary with the pictures, his caption caught the attention of many users online. He captioned the post with a sharp two-word statement “Not Satisfied.”

The USC Trojans are viewed by many as the best college football team this season with four consecutive wins against their Pac-12 opponents. They beat the Stanford Cardinal, Arizona State Sun Devils, Colorado Buffaloes, and Arizona Wildcats, and now they’re moving forward to Week 7 of the season.

Brenden Rice is a prominent football player whose value shone from his time with Colorado in 2020 to 2021. But since transferring to USC, his talent is complemented by their team’s quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner, Caleb Williams. Nonetheless, fans are curious why he left Colorado for USC.

Brenden Rice’s journey from Colorado to USC

Brenden Rice has an insatiable thirst for success and it is evident from his latest post. During his career with the Buffaloes, he was a star player who secured 21 receptions for 299 yards and three touchdowns. But Colorado wasn’t as a big name as it is now after the intervention of Coach Prime Deion Sanders.

His search for a better position landed him at USC when Lincoln Riley proposed an offer for him at USC. Brenden Rice has said, “I get a couple other calls, but as soon as you heard Lincoln call, you just had to go. Especially with like USC and its big name. You gotta come. You have to. Man, it was quick. I was shocked.

Considering that Brenden Rice is still dissatisfied with his impressive performance in the last game, we can only wait and hope for more phenomenal showdowns in the future. The upcoming fame with the 5-2 Notre Dame Fighting Irish will be quite a spectacle.
