Today is yet another day when Sherrone Moore receives the shorter end of the stick. The former offensive coordinator for the team was promoted to the position of head coach ever since Jim Harbaugh left. Harbaugh was with the team for 9 years before leaving Michigan to pursue his dreams of a Super Bowl with the Los Angeles Chargers.

The 2023 season saw one of the best Michigan performances ever. They went 15-0 before finally conquering the national championship. In what was one of the most dominating performances of 2023, Harbaugh’s Wolverines are the reigning champions but under new leadership. While the fans welcomed Sherrone Moore with open arms, he sure hasn’t had it easy being the newest head coach.

The Michigan Wolverines’ safety Keon Sabb has announced his decision to enter the transfer portal. The 21-year-old is an amazing player who played a vital role in winning the national championship in 2023. The news comes days after the team was expected to hire Stephen Adegoke as the next defensive back coach, but he got persuaded to stay back with the Texas Longhorns, due to which Sabb might just have gotten influenced to leave as well.

These reports have led the fans to believe the rumors that ‘Harbaugh fever’ just might be real as more and more members of the Wolverines continue to desert the team. Sherrone Moore’s newest position as the Michigan head coach isn’t off to a great start. Ever since his arrival, Jesse Minter, Ben Herbert and now Keon Sabb have decided to call their time with the men in maize and blue off. Things seem to be progressively getting worse for Sherrone Moore as he tries to hold the fort down. With more coaching staff members leaving the team than players, he will need to come up with a strong strategy to ensure the strength of the Michigan Wolverines. Clinkscale was with the team for 3 seasons and an important part of the staff, but it looks like he was swept away to the NFL by the tempting Jim Harbaugh.

He will be working with the LA Chargers to perform the same roles. Harbaugh’s success at Michigan will be difficult to replicate by Moore but it will be harder now since most of the valuable coaches have decided to follow in his footsteps. The roster seems to be falling apart and Moore is already facing hard challenges as the next season draws closer.
