The 2023 NFL draft is a few months away, but Stetson Bennett is already making the headlines. However, it is for the wrong reasons. A door knocking incident led him to the Dallas County jail gates on Sunday morning. And the two-time national champion QB is facing the fans’ fury for committing what they think is obviously an avoidable offense.

Bennett recently won his second national championship with the University of Georgia. And he is heading into the NFL draft as one of the top QB picks.

The former Georgia Bulldogs QB Stetson Bennett landed in legal trouble on Sunday. The Dallas County police arrested the two-time national champion, according to Bleacher Report, for public intoxication after a door knocking incident. The arrest happened in Old East Dallas on Tribeca way. Police found Bennett after responding to reports of a man banging on the doors in the area.

Bennett is facing fans’ fury after the incident as it comes just months before the 2023 NFL draft. Some fans think the stardom has got into the QB’s head, while others wish he was a little more careful before the draft. A fan gave the reason for Bennett doing what he did.

He led the Bulldogs to two back-to-back college football national championship titles, the program’s first since 1980.

Bennett and the Bulldogs won the second title just a few weeks back when they demolished TCU 65-7 in the College playoff championship final game.
