Colorado’s Coach Prome made it known that his team was leaving the Pac-12 after this season. Colorado’s move from the Pac-12 to the Big 12 next year will lead to more games against conference rivals in the Central and Eastern time zones. But are the Colorado Buffaloes ready to take on bigger challenges? Fellow NFL Hall of Famer Terrell Owens shares his brutal dissection of the team’s drawbacks as they gear to match up against Stanford this coming Saturday.

However, while there are issues to be worked on, there is a hint of a silver lining as well. Deion Sanders in his weekly interview made some interesting revelations that might mark the return of an asset integral to the Buffs’ arsenal.

Owens appeared on the latest episode of ‘All the Smoke’ and discussed amongst other things the issues that have been slowing down Dieion Sander’s Colorado Buffaloes. Even though he feels that Coach Prime is going to be able to turn Cololardo into Alabama in a few year’s time, he is only “six or seven players away” says Owens, from being “dominant.”

Coach Prime already has the “skilled positions” post his tailor-made roster that includes numerous new players and transfers including both his sons and and former No. 1 overall recruit Travis Hunter, both of whom were transferred in from the HBCU. Travis Hunter suffered a severe liver injury after Henry Blackburn’s late hit and was sidelined for a few weeks, dealing a significant blow to the Buffs. In Hunter’s absence, Colorado suffered back-to-back losses to Oregon and USC, both formidable rivals. With impressive stats this season, amassing 16 receptions for 233 yards, 9 tackles, and 2 pass breakups, his absence was sorely felt by the team. With his possible comeback, this Saturday NFL fans are gearing up for some steller Shedeur and Hunter magic!
