Georgia’s valuable tight end, Brock Bower, serves as a driving factor to his team’s undefeated season. But after sustaining an ankle injury on Oct. 16, he had to sit out the games in recovery. But recent reports are strongly suggesting that he’ll be making an epic comeback in the next game against Ole Miss.

Brock Bower’s potential return to the field in Week 10

There is not just one source but multiple credible sources suggesting that Brock Bower might be able to play Saturday’s game. Georgia football insider Rusty Mansell “expects Brock Bowers to play Saturday night against the Ole Miss Rebels.” If the 20-year-old returns to the field, it would be a major boost in their chances of winning three back-to-back national championships.

As much as everyone wants Brock Bowers back on the field, Georgia head coach Kirby Smart is making sure that his tight end checks all the boxes before playing again. He said, “Those things must be checked off before you can even go there. So, he’s not at greater risk of a long-term career thing.” But Georgia fans, there’s hope yet!

Kirby Smart has revealed a possibility of Brock Bowers returning, saying he “wouldn’t rule out” his return. The 2-time national champion suffered an ankle sprain injury during a game against Vanderbilt on Oct. 16. But now he’s seen to be running drills and getting in shape after his surgery. Smart said, “He’s back running now on dry land and we’re hoping that he keeps getting better.

Following his injury, Brock Bowers sat out the last two games. But his stats still account for an incredible 41 catches for 567 yards and four touchdowns. He joined the Georgia Bulldogs in 2021 and helped them win two national championships. This would mark his third national championship if Georgia wins this season.

The lucky thing for Georgia is that right when Brock Bowers was out of the game during his recovery, receiver Ladd McConkey made his return. In the last game against Missouri, McConkey completed with 7 receptions for 95 yards and 6 catches for 135 yards in the previous match against Florida. Now, if Brock Bowers comes back, they have a chance to be undefeatable.
