Former Cleveland Browns, quarterback, Johnny Manziel, recently caught the attention again. He expressed his unequivocal admiration for Buffaloes, head coach Deion Sanders so much so that he expressed his desire to expose his son under Coach Prime’s mentorship.

Even though it has been a hypothetical situation since Manziel does not have a son, it showcased the admiration he holds for Deion Sanders. Concerning this, former NBA star Nate Robinson shares similar feelings for the Buffaloes’ head coach.  

In a candid conversation with Shannon Sharpe on the YouTube show Club Shay Shay, Manziel left no room for doubt while asserting his respect and confidence in the Buffaloes’ head coach, Deion Sanders. Despite not having a son of his own, Manziel confidently claimed, “If I was a father and my son was looking to go to play for a coach I would absolutely without a doubt unequivocally send them to coach”.

The former NFL quarterback’s admiration for Coach Prime extends beyond the strategy that Sanders exhibits on the field. Rather, Manziel’s appreciation resonated with the widely recognized leadership skills that the coach brings to the field. He further shares his insight,  “I would play for a man for a guy who’s a leader of men for a guy who carries himself the way that that Prime does.” 

Manziel’s willingness to metaphorically “sign his life” for Sanders reflects the deep trust that players place in his mentoring abilities. The former NBA star, Nate Robinson holds similar respect for Deion Sanders coaching his talented cornerback son, Nahmier.

Presently Nahmier is on the Buffaloes’ roster and is undergoing a transformative journey under the mentorship of none other than Coach Prime, which is contrary to Manziel’s hypothetical situation. Expressing his immense belief in Sanders, Nate Robinson expressed his gratitude, “It’s been a blessing. He’s learning a lot, he’s becoming a student of the game, which I wanted for him – to learn from the best and be coached by the best.”
