Stephen A. Smith is none too pleased with the Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders and his proud and arrogant attitude. While his support goes out to his father, Coach Prime Deion Sanders, this isn’t the first time the sports TV personality has called out Shedeur’s complacent attitude. 

Facing another fresh defeat from the Stanford Cardinal, Stephen A. Smith feels that Colorado needs to buckle up. But with Shedeur Sanders straying from the right path, he urged him to conduct himself. See how he repeats Coach Prime and retired Tampa Bay Buccaneers star QB Tom Brady as he reprimands Shedeur’s behavior.

Following the recent startling defeat from Stanford, Stephen A. Smith took to his show to slam Colorado’s complacent attitude. He especially directs his concern for Shedeur Sanders, “who can ball” and “got a lot of promise.” But while he has the potential, the 56-year-old sports TV personality feels that Shedeur needs to get down from the clouds and get back to the film room. 

Stephen A. Smith played back on how Shedeur Sanders was driving a Rolls Royce when his father, Coach Prime, and Tom Brady called him to the film room, half joking and half serious. The retired NFL GOAT asked Shedeur to get his a** in the film room in a half-serious tone.

Smith slammed the young quarterback’s drive to celebrate too soon after every win because there’s always a tomorrow to prepare for. The ESPN commentator said, “When you’re celebrating one week but you getting your a** kicked the next, that’s a problem.

He went on to say that the problem happens when you neglect what’s ahead and celebrate early. And he hopes that the awkward scenario won’t happen again because “it ain’t fun when you get your a** kicked.”

Smith continued by saying that everything is not Shedeur’s fault, but since he’s one of the greatest college football players, many people look up to him, including fellow teammates. And when that happens, there is distraction in the field, and no one will be able to deliver their A-game on the field.

Deion Sanders’ Colorado is making an impression this season, and his son Shedeur Sanders is playing a big role in leading the team to victory. Smith denounced his behavior, saying he shouldn’t make himself an “additional target” but focus on the game. 

Colorado will be having the UCLA Bruins in Week 8. After losing to underdog Stanford 46-43, Deion Sanders and his team need to buckle up because eyes will be everywhere to judge them based on the next game.
