Jalen Milroe’s stardom just reached a national level after his appearance on CBS Mornings on Thursday. And that’s not the only major interview he’s had in 24 hours. He also appeared on ESPN‘s First Take today to talk about football. But the question is how did the Alabama QB suddenly get the opportunity to come up in some of the most coveted national shows?

Indeed, Jalen Milroe finished the 2023 season with flying colors as he led the Crimson Tide to an SEC Championship victory. But is his achievement reasonable enough to land him big shows? Another interesting thing to note is that this major off-season media appearance is not the only thing buzzing around the Texas native. As he embarked on his first visit to New York for the shows, he made waves by linking himself with other elite athletes in the Big Apple!

Following his interview on the popular national show that hosts some of the top personalities, here’s what Bama247 on 247Sports on YouTube came up with on July 26 to break down his validity as a rapidly rising college football player. Alabama staff writer Mike Rodak revealed his thoughts on the 21-year-old’s interview on national TV calling it “a bit surprising” despite his success last season and finishing in sixth place as a Heisman contender. He said, “To me it’s just a question of is he there yet? I still think Jalen Milroe has a decent amount to prove this year. I don’t think he’s a household name.”

Rodak further explained how there are “not too many players that really have that brand power” and that it could be his representatives who are trying to get him out there. Award-winning journalist Alex Scarborough also chimed in with his opinion stating that Milroe is “the face of college football this year.” He said, “He’s the most recognizable person because he does bring the Alabama brand. He is a quarterback. He is a star… And he’s got more charisma than I think you can really attach to some of the other quarterbacks.” And aside from turning on the buzz with his interviews, he has more to feed the media with his New York experience.

Jalen Milroe makes memories in NYC with big names

For a first-timer, Jalen Milroe exceeded expectations in New York. In addition to his shows, he also met with two popular athletes with whom he exchanged mementos. He first met with New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge on Wednesday, where he exchanged a No. 99 Alabama football jersey for a baseball bat.

The other star he met with is the 22-year-old Croatian star Josko Gvardiol. Following that exchange with Judge, Milroe also met with the Manchester City’s defender where they gifted each other with their respective sports jerseys. It looks like Jalen Milroe is going to be remembered in NYC!
