The Colorado Buffaloes offensive line Jordan Seaton recently shared one of the moments that led him to sign with the team. The 5-star recruit did flirt with other offers as he didn’t sign with the football side during the signing day. Now, the youngster revealed one of the major reasons that prompted his decision to go with the Deion Sanders-led team.

Jordan Seaton opens up on the key moment that led to the CU Buffs signing

The OL was a hot property in the recruitment list and was wanted by as many as 5 teams. He finally settled on the Buffs as one of the gestures by the team made him love the side even more. He recently took to YouTube to highlight the same. Seaton said- “Two schools that said happy birthday to my mother and Colorado was one of them. So you know just like that little things like that like I never told them. I never, I don’t even let my mom be in the recruiting process cuz it’s weird these days. So just little things like that stood out to me.”

Jordan Seaton gushed over how the franchise went the extra mile and wished his mother a happy birthday. These small gestures speak a lot about the team’s qualities and the care they have for their players. The team took small steps to ensure that their OL felt good and even wished his mother a special day. Seaton during the course of the interview also highlighted one of Deion Sanders’ qualities that made him the team’s fan. He narrated how the HC comes across as personable and wishes nothing but the best for his players. However, there were some tactics that other schools were leveraging to take Seaton away from Colorado.

The tall and gigantic offensive line was always going to be with the Coach Prime side. He even spoke publicly in the media about how he wished to support Shedeur Sanders on the field. Jordan  Seaton spoke- “This was the most famous one I got,” Seaton said. “It was like “What do you want to be a rapper or something?” I’m like…Hey, I get what you’re saying, but… bro… There was a lot of negative recruiting.” This was just another example of how teams were going with negative recruiting and forcing the OL to sway away from Colorado.
