The battle for the 2024 Heisman Trophy is knocking off and the odds are out at FanDuel with tons of QBs listed in the top 20 such as Dillon Gabriel, Carson Beck, Quinn Ewers, Bill Howard, and so on. Among all of them, Gabriel’s stock is on the rise in the betting markets and probably there might be a draw between the Oregon QB and the Georgia QB. However, there is another name which is in discussion. Can you guess the name?

He is none other than the Ole Miss QB, ‘Lane Kiffin’s Wonderboy, Jaxson Dart. On July 28, 2024, on Late Kick Live, Josh Pate discussed the biggest potential dark horse to win this season: the Heisman Trophy. He said, “Jaxson Dart is sitting there seventh in the odds market picture. But if Ole Miss hit their Max top-end potential, it’s not because defense carried”.  The reason behind choosing the Ole Miss QB

Not only personal choice but the stellar performance of the Ole Miss quarterback might be the reason for Josh’s decision. Dart is recognized for his arm’s strength and timing, and he is an accurate passer for the game. Most importantly, in the 2023 campaign, Dart threw 23 touchdowns and five interceptions for 3,364 yards, which was quite a remarkable performance.

However, the QB is entering his fifth season at Ole Miss, and it is expected this season he will bring a lot to the Rebels. Even in the odds market picture, an argument has taken place that Dart could be in a higher position on the betting list as he became the more polished passer now, compared to his top contenders Gabriel and Beck. Right now we can only predict, but the result is not in our hands. So, let’s wait and watch.
