Odell Beckham Jr channels his inner Tiger

A sportsperson always has a soft corner for any team they have played. That showed when the LSU Tigers women’s basketball team lifted the division 1 national championship. NFL wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr shot a message to the ‘Lady Tigers’.

LSU trumped the Iowa Hawkeyes to lift the NCAA Division One College Basketball championship for the very first time. They kept the Hawkeyes star Caitlin Clark quiet during the game and won 102-85 in the end. Thus, Louisiana State added a new feather to the hat of its sporting history. They have achieved what had remained elusive to them thus far.

OBJ has also found his search for a new team elusive at best. While he is on the radar of various teams in the NFL, the wide receiver had to come out to dispel a rumor regarding his salary.

Odell Beckham Jr is on the list of multiple NFL teams looking to bolster their offense through free agency. One name that is floating around is the New York Jets. They want to give Aaron Rodgers all the possible help if and when the QB arrives at MetLife Stadium. The Kansas City Chiefs are also on a lookout for a WR after JuJu Smith-Schuster’s departure. Amid all the clamor, some reports claimed that OBJ wants a $15 million-a-year contract with interested teams. He came out and fiercely dispelled the rumor through a tweet. The WR had earlier shut down similar rumors quoting an even higher price.
