One of the many people the late Monte Kiffin touched is Atlanta Falcons head coach Raheem Morris, who appeared on @thepivot to pay a heartfelt tribute to the late coach. Morris served under HC Kiffin at Tampa Bay from 2007 to 2008 as the DC. Three weeks after the sorrowful event, he’s still here, crediting his mentor for bringing him to where he is today. Morris’ love and respect for Monte Kiffin are evident as he said during the show, “I take every lesson from Monte Kiffin, the detail, and the energy, the thought process, and the love that he brought to the football game that will never ever leave me.” Following this, Lane Kiffin shared the post on X on August 6 with a tear-jerking comment, “Making me (crying emoji) again with you Raheem. Monte Kiffin’s virtues are reflected in the people whose lives he’s changed, even with the simplest gestures like picking Morris up when he came to Tampa while Kiffin was the DC. Morris also recounted how he would give Morris and his family the chance to experience his luxurious life by giving him his beach condo every year. Lane Kiffin’s actions after his passing only reflect his deep love and respect for his father.

Lane Kiffin upholds his late father with reverence

Lane Kiffin posted something quite personal and meaningful on Instagram a day ago. It’s a collection of his father’s mementos and achievements in football. It comprises everything from age-old newspapers with his headlines to photo frames of him when he was younger, one with family and one with his team. His induction to the Ring of Honor in 2021 was added.

This action only shows how the Kiffin family holds Monte in the highest regard. In his appearance on SEC Media Days after his father’s passing, he said, “There’s very few superheroes and very few great ones that loved everyone and tried to help everyone they came in touch with forever. Whether you were big or small, wherever you were, he tried to help.” Morris’ revelation proves Kiffin’s statement accurate. Such a noble character who we believe is smiling down upon his loved ones.
