This year’s portal window period isn’t looking good for Coach Prime and the Colorado Buffaloes. To add to the heartache of losing more than 40 players, the former Buffs aren’t being nice to the team after their departure. Could it be that these claims hold some truth in that it bugged them enough to disclose it to the whole world?

It started with Cormani McClain who stated he’d rather be with a program that develops him instead of playing for clicks. Then, Xavier Smith came up and claimed that Deion Sanders was destroying guys’ confidence by not giving them adequate attention and interest. To add to the heat, Shedeur Sanders leaped into the fire of controversy with savage responses including one that says he doesn’t even remember Smith. Are these narratives affecting the choices of Colorado’s prospective recruits?

Colorado loses a top RB prospect to Ole Miss

As Coach Prime and Colorado continue to stay in negative limelight with their social media shenanigans, Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss have their door open for elite prospects looking for a home. According to an X post by Hayes Fawcett, “Former Miami (OH) RB Rashad Amos has Flipped his Transfer Commitment from Colorado to Ole Miss.” Amos will be joining the Rebels with “2 years of eligibility remaining.”

Rashad Amos played for three years at South Carolina before transferring to Miami for the 2023 season. Last season, he rushed for 1,075 yards and 13 TDs. After hitting the portal again, Amos initially committed to Mississippi State but flipped to Colorado. And now, the flipping game is at large again as he’s set to join Ole Miss after his visit. Could the conundrum at Colorado have led to his decision?

The beef between Shedeur Sanders and Gavin Kuld

The latest social media beef surrounds Shedeur Sanders and former backup QB Gavin Kuld. It began when Kuld expressed his opinion on the Buffs QB in a now-deleted interview with MagDog TV. In the discussion, he took a dig at how Shedeur Sanders spends his NIL money selfishly. He said, “Look at Arizona, look at Fifita, he did with all his money… Look at Colorado this guy has got six cars and an apartment.”

After learning about the statement, Shedeur Sanders came on strong on X to deliver a warning to Kuld in a post that stated, “I learned sometimes you have to take the high road. @GKuld I’ll spare you only this 1 time.” To this, Kuld replied, “Bro @ShedeurSanders what high road? What are you talking about spare me lol.” This exchange put Shedeur Sanders in a negative light as internet users came together to slam and accuse him of hypocrisy and immaturity.
