Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffs have found themselves in hot water again after former safety Xavier Smith revealed his raw experience under the Buffs’ new HC. According to a post by The Athletic, Smith called out Colorado’s lack of compassion as he narrated an incident with Coach Prime and the Buffs officials. He said, “(Sanders) said he felt like I should hit the portal. He didn’t want me to waste a year thinking I could earn a spotYou never even tried to get to know me.”

After this revelation, Shedeur Sanders took to X to drop his two cents on Smith. He wrote, “(I don’t) even remember him (to be honest). Bro had to be very mid at best.” This comment rubbed fans of social media the wrong way who seemed to take a dig at the Buffs QB. Following that, Deion Sanders appeared to defend his son, garnering a reaction from Lane Kiffin.

In the post, Deion Sanders defended Shedeur Sanders saying, “He will be a top 5 pick. Where yo son going?” This statement received even more backlash from the online community with somebody replying, “Tell yo son stop act like he the coldest out here then put up a 4-8 season.” The Buffs, especially, the Sanders family are constantly subjected to online criticism owing to their high-profile nature, and the way the previous season went for the team.

Haters aren’t going to stop hating or bringing the past back to haunt Deion Sanders’ below-average field performance last season. The recent spring transfer portal saw many players leaving the program including Dylan Edwards, Savion Washington, and Cormani McClain, among others. This only fueled the haters’ interest in trolling Deion Sanders’ role in Boulder.

Needless to say, the Sanders family is getting fed up with the criticism and Deion Sanders Jr. recently expressed his wrath at the critics. He slammed certain social media outlets that are trying to profit by slandering Coach Prime’s name and even uploaded a self-proclaimed “hater” video for the world to see his resentment. After all, there’s only so much patience a person can have, don’t you think so? Let us know in the comments section below.
