Taking to social media on Friday, Dylan Raiola ushered fans to put together a warm welcome for David Sanders Jr. on his unofficial visit to the school. The Husker Nation didn’t let him down with a huge, memorable attendance. Satisfied with the turn of events, Raiola said, “This is better than I expected. He knew people were coming but I don’t think he understood it was going to be like this.” Now the only question is if this legendary gesture would move Sanders Jr. to turn his commitment to Matt Rhule and Nebraska.

Will David Sanders Jr. choose Nebraska over the other choices?

This isn’t the first time that David Sanders Jr. visited Nebraska. The North Carolina standout came to visit Rhule and the Cornhuskers back in May. Raiola hopes that the 6’5, 270-pounder knows that the love from Husker Nation is real from their support during his visit.

Dylan Raiola also said, “You get a guy like that, you change the game with that.” According to On3 rankings, Sanders Jr. is the nation’s No. 2 recruit in the 2025 class. The Huskers QB is hopeful that Nebraska could be the new home for the Providence Day HS star, saying, “Hopefully we get him. I feel like we will and I’m just glad that the fans showed out for us.” Fingers are crossed until Sanders Jr. drops his decision on August 17.
