In the leadup to the Michigan State vs. Penn State, lots of things have transpired. Just before the match, the Michigan team, reeling from the sign-stealing controversy, found themselves without an HC. However, there was no lack of morale as they were fired up! The No. 3 ranked Wolverines topped their opposition commandingly in their fixture earlier today.

Coach Harbaugh is facing suspension of a three-match ban. In his absence, the interim coaches played their roles superbly and rallied their troops towards a stellar victory. It was a scenic atmosphere as Michigan came with all guns blazing and giving a statement on the field. It just shows how well the management has worked with the players over the NCAA season.

They surely are the favorites to enter the playoffs and might go on to win the NCAA competition. For Harbaugh, things seem pretty serious as his restraining order is denied.

The sign-stealing controversy has engulfed the entire Michigan side. Now, as the team was preparing for the match against Penn State, they were without their HC. Jim Harbaugh was given a three-match ban as adjudged by the Big 10 conference. However, the HC couldn’t even get a restraining order in time to coach his team! Offensive coordinator Sherrone Moore was asked to act as the interim coach.

The suspension came in late during the Friday afternoon, with Harbaugh on the plane. Within moments, Michigan’s management decided to go for a temporary order. Moments later, the team released a statement saying- “We look forward to presenting our case next week where we intend to demonstrate that the Big Ten has not acted legally or fairly,”. This is turning out to be more than just sign-stealing accusations, with the legal bodies involved. Things might turn messy as the authorities vest the power to make future decisions.

While Michigan fights its allegations off the field, they’re absolutely peerless on the turf! Despite the controversy, suspensions, and now even legal issues involved, the team looks on course. This win was a redemption of sorts and a true test of Michigan’s players’ characters.
