Having hailed Jonathan James McCarthy as one of the best quarterbacks in the University of Michigan and college football’s history, he has predicted that McCarthy should be picked relatively early in the draft.

Ahead of Michigan’s national championship win, Jim Harbaugh’s predictions for JJ McCarthy add a new perspective on how scouts might change their opinion on his combined performance. He also appreciated McCarthy’s Pro Day performance, saying it was amongst the best he’s ever seen.

Harbaugh called McCarthy being placed on the number 5 spot as “like having the No. 1 pick.” This underlines his massive belief in JJ McCarthy’s abilities and potential to reach the top.
