Blake Corum, the running back for the Michigan Wolverines, brings back the iconic one word that was their motivation during the past season. The Wolverines went on to win the CFP national championship but still haven’t received their fair share of flowers as the fans continue to doubt their legitimacy. In response to the hate, Corum reissued the word yet again to silence the noise.
The Michigan Wolverines went 15-0 during the run past season. They defeated the Washington Huskies to win the championship but it still wasn’t enough to appease the fans for Jim Harbaugh’s sign-stealing scandals last year. According to the mob mentality, the Wolverines won the championship because they had an advantage over the other teams during Harbaugh’s time with the team.
Even though Harbaugh was suspended from the team while Michigan continued to dominate the league, it has never been enough to quell the doubts and hate from the fans. Finally, Corum talked about the word, ‘bet’, which was once used in the context of Harbaugh’s backlash and is now a tool to shut the hate down.

Blake Corum reiterates the word ‘BET’, as the fans’ envy of Michigan winning the championship grows deeper
After Jim Harbaugh was suspended from the league and an NCAA investigation was launched against the team, they faced a lot of scrutiny from the merciless fans. Their undefeated record was severely undercut as the unfair advantage was emphasized constantly. In response to all this hate, Blake Corum and the team issued the word ‘bet‘, which loosely translates to challenge accepted.

And now that they are the reigning champions, the fans still can’t swallow the harsh truth that their performance was legitimate. Blake Corum iconically said, “It’s really ‘bet.’ That’s all I gotta say. At the end of the day, what else do you want us to prove, man? Whatever came out in the beginning of the season, after that, you say we stole signals. We went on the road and beat Penn State, beat Ohio State, beat Iowa, beat Alabama, beat Washington.”
“All of these teams are top 10 in each category — offense and defense. We handled business. So, yeah, bet.” It’s evident that the star RB is tired of having to explain the team’s glory and has ‘bet’ to say to all the doubts and chaos. Though he has a lot to say in defense of his beloved Michigan, he too has declared for the NFL draft in 2024, and here are the top teams that the RB could end up with.
Predictions: Which team will Corum end up with in the NFL?
Blake Corum was the driving force behind Michigan’s road to glory. Sure, McCarthy’s passes made sure that Harbaugh’s name wasn’t dragged through the mud, but if it weren’t for Corum receiving those throws, the players would not have ‘bet’ to say as a response. The NFL would do wonders for a talent like Blake Corum, and here are the top teams that he could sign with.

Teams like the Carolina Panthers, the Buffalo Bills, the New England Patriots, and the Tennessee Titans would be the top contenders to sign the 23-year-old. But personally, the Minnesota Vikings seem like the perfect place for Corum’s talents. After Alexander Mattison, the RB for the Vikings, displayed a poor performance for the team this past season, the team should be on the lookout for Blake Courm.
Additionally, Tykevius Chandler was an alternative for the team, but even he couldn’t lead the team to any glory. With Corum coming into the NFL, it is obvious that teams will end up squabbling for him, as he’s a talent unlike anything anyone’s ever seen. The question remains, will Blake Corum end up with the Vikings? Let us know in the comments below.
