Growing up with his single mother hadn’t been a cruise because there had been lots of struggles to get him to where he is today. In a YouTube video by Colorado Football, Deion Sanders discloses his mother’s hardships during a press conference. He said, “There’s a period of time in my life where my mother was a single parent and I just got love for that. 

Deion Sanders showed his enthusiasm when his players told him about doing something special for single mothers. He recounted the moment, saying that it was a wonderful idea and that “anything they want to do,” he’s “all in” for it. He also expresses his sense of pride for his players for their noble character for a “tremendous” deed. 

Young Deion Sanders had to go through the crisis of his parent’s divorce when he was only two years old. He grew up with his mother, who was a schoolteacher. While they faced poverty growing up, Connie Sanders remains a support in his athletic pursuits.
