Deion Sanders, the coach for the Colorado Buffaloes, will not be happy with his team’s performance last night. The 56-year-old coach has been in the headlines since he signed with the Buffs on a 5-year contract. Though he’s brought newfound fame to the team, his team’s performance has not been up to the mark.

The Buffaloes were looking to make a comeback after a string of upsets against the UCLA Bruins. But unfortunately, things didn’t go exactly as planned as the Bruins won the match by a staggering score of 28-16. The match was a disappointment, but the unfair ejection of Shilo over a tackle took precedence over the loss itself. Shilo’s ejection sent the fans into a rage as Coach Prime himself termed it as “horrendous.”

After the match, the video of the tackle that got Shilo ejected soon went viral. The fans on X could not stop talking about the unfair decision of the referees. Terrell Ownes, the NFL Hall of Famer, took to Instagram and posted the same video of Shilo. Later, Coach Prime himself reposted the video which indicates the firm stand he’s taken with his son.

Terrell Owens captioned the story, “This play should’ve made @deionsanders CUSS right here!!!😂🤬🤬🤬 ” The ejection played a major part in turning the tide against the Bruins’ favor. The Buffaloes’ defense took a massive hit and couldn’t stop the harsh offense of the UCLA team. Thus, in totality, the foul cost them the match as even Shedeur Sanders couldn’t help the team to a victory.

Shilo has had a remarkable comeback following his severe injury against the Oregon Ducks. He had to be hospitalized after a severe kidney injury forced him to be taken off the field. Since then, he’s proven himself worthy of the Sanders name with a record of over 36 total tackles this season.

In the game against the UCLA Bruins, he tackled Carsen Ryan, the running back for the Bruins. The referees termed it as ‘targetting’ the player which ultimately led to his ejection. Neither the CB fans nor Coach Prime himself were happy with the decision and have been criticizing the management since. A fan wrote on Twitter, “Great hit, nothing wrong with it at all. This is why the NFL is unwatchable and college is quickly reaching that status.” In totality, the Buffaloes still didn’t manage to make a comeback and will have to go back to the drawing board as they plan their next move.
