Prime Time is a god-loving person. It’s evident from his subliminal messages on Twitter, his posts on Instagram, and even during the times he was hospitalized last year. How does he not give up in times of adversity? The answer lies in his belief in higher power. He shared the same in a throwback interview on his Instagram. Sanders can be heard saying, “One thing Deion Sanders has is a great relationship with the Lord” Coach Prime continued to say as he sports a hat with his curls in the interview.

When it comes to mentoring and inspiring students, there’s no one better than Deion Sanders who can motivate youngsters to perform at their absolute best. With the power vested in him through the Lord, Coach Prime never feels the pressure. In the interview, the pressures as described by the interviewer are the money, flashy lifestyle, and the people taking advantage of him among other things. Recently, the SNL took a jibe at Coach Prime as his side copped a loss against Stanford.

SNL mocks Deion Sanders post-Stanford loss

For ages, Saturday Night Live (SNL) takes a mickey out of players and coaching staff in the NFL. Deion Sanders found himself in the shallow waters after the close defeat against the Stanford Cardinals. After Prime Time admitted that he was truly disturbed by the shattering loss, the SNL went a step ahead in making fun of the same.

Deion Sanders Receives Scathing Criticism As Travis Hunter Runs Out of Gas in Stanford Clash

The latest Friday night wasn’t at all kind on the legendary coach. Kenan Thompson donned the role of Sanders as he wore the iconic Coach Prime merchandise with the white hoodie. Thompson also matched the 10X Pro-Bowler’s personality.  He used the hand gestures on point and remarked “Wasn’t that crazy? We were up 29-0 at the half, so I went home and fell asleep. I woke up this morning as shocked as anyone.” Shedding light on his earlier pursuits in the Jackson State, the actor interjected- “God called me to Jackson State, God called me again and was like ‘My bad.’” The last line invited a barrel of peals of laughter as the show included a clip from Sanders’s musical segment from 1995.

Looking back, in the 1990s, a young Deion Sanders was taking the world by storm, both in the NFL and MLB. Now about 34 years later, when Sanders faces the heat of taking his CU side to the playoffs, his relationship with the Lord stays constant. It remains to be seen whether his faith will be fruitful or not.
