Not too long ago, there was a huge online conflict between Deion Sanders and his ex-wife Pilar Sanders regarding their daughter Shelomi’s recent decision to transfer from CU, which did not go unnoticed by the CF community. However, Shilo, being the oldest among the siblings, apparently made an effort to mend the familial rift between his parents—by unfollowing mother Pilar from Instagram. Now, this gesture of Shilo has sparked a heartfelt response from Deion Sanders, expressing his pride and support for his son.

As we saw, after the Prime Time weekend at CU, Shilo made headlines with his acting debut in the series “Black Mafia Family,” portraying his father as “Prime Time”,  which already received public commendation from Coach Prime. However, every father would like to go back and cherish the milestone of seeing his young self being portrayed by his own son, just like Deion Sanders did. Posting a still from the shoot featuring Shilo in his signature style, Deion Sanders wrote a touching message in the caption that reads: “@shilosanders, God has graced you with so much talent and knowledge. I am proud of you, son. Let’s do this thing and look back and smile. #Dad.”

The post not only celebrates Shilo’s success in Hollywood but also highlights the strong bond between father and son amidst the family dynamics. However, even though Pilar and Shilo are not following each other on social media, it does not stop her from taking pride in her firstborn.

The timing of their unfollowing each other on social media is still unclear, but it does follow Pilar’s recent criticisms of Deion for pushing his dreams onto their children and not supporting Shelomi’s decision to step out of CU. However, as Shilo manages to shine both on and off the field, it is only justified that even though there’s been a familial feud recently, parents never back down when it comes to celebrating their child’s milestones!
