Shedeur Sanders suffered like no other quarterback in the 2023 season, ending up as the most sacked quarterback with 52 sacks. He eventually had to sit out the last game against the Utah Utes due to injury. This season, the Buffs have developed a new motto called DT2, which aims to ensure maximum protection for Shedeur Sanders.

The spring football game is set to take place on April 27 at Folsom Field, and the Buffs are operating with a different spirit and energy this year. According to Benson’s explanation, “DT2 originated from me, my mom, my cousin sitting in a hotel room… thinking about how we gonna bring something to this city for real.” DT2, aka Don’t Touch 2, is a motto that the Buffs came up with to protect Shedeur Sanders, who sports the No. 2 on the field. And now, it is translating beyond just being a motto. As revealed by Benson, the DT2 merch is set to release on April 1 at 8 AM on his website at KahlilBenson.com. The offensive star, who excels in tackle and guard positions, previously said of DT2 concerning Shedeur Sanders, “He’s not getting touched no more.” DT2 could be an invaluable strategy that might help the 22-year-old in the 2024 season, as is portrayed in his confidence.

Compared to anyone else, Shedeur Sanders will reap the best benefit from the new O-line players. His confidence in DT2 echoed in his previous statement, where he said, “Look at that we got DT2 on top. Don’t Touch 2, that’s the motto this year. We got to get the lineman. They created that so it’s a whole team. It’s a different energy, different movement.
