Last year in June, Deion Sanders struck a deal with the $17.7 billion giant fast food company which is an attempt by the company to highlight the importance of family. Coach Prime said, “KFC has been a lunch and dinnertime go-to for the Sanders family since I was a kid, and my kids loved this tradition as well. Game days, family and a bucket of Kentucky Fried Chicken have always brought he memorable moments, so this partnership is a real family affair. It’s Prime Time, baby”

After his endorsement, Deion Sanders and his athlete sons Shedeur Sanders and Shilo Sanders first appeared in a KFC commercial in September 2023. But now, it looks like the sons are flying with KFC without Prime. This time, there’s no Coach Prime in the latest fast food venture with the Smash’d Bowls! 

Colorado Buffs trio enjoys KFC’s new Smash’d Bowls

Feast your eyes on the recent IG upload by Shilo Sanders as he enjoys the new Smash’d Potato Bowls with Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter in a paid partnership with KFC. He advertised the delicacy in his caption that read, “These @KFC Smash’d Bowls come in clutch every time. Get yours now for only $3.49.” Shilo Sanders commented that it’s the “perfect snack for after-practice” before savoring the treat. 

The Smash’d Potato Bowls is a recent addition to KFC’s bowl lineup like Famous Bowls and Mac & Cheese Bowls. After a successful test run in Pittsburgh in 2023, it was officially introduced to the nation on January 29 this year. The bowl is a mixture of mashed potatoes with fries, bacon crumbles, warm cheese sauce, and a three-cheese blend topping. KFC chief marketing officer Nick Chavez said, “If you like our Famous Bowls, you’re going to love this new bowl.” So, if you haven’t tried it yet, give it a go as the trio’s reactions suggest that it’s not a disappointment! And not to mention Deion Sanders high praise for the fast food giant.
