Colorado star QB Shedeur Sanders and recent No. 1 recruit Jordan Seaton both welcomed their new commit in their own styles. With elite players coming in, Colorado can look forward to a better season in 2024.
Will Sheppard finds a warm welcome in Colorado

Will Sheppard is the latest recruit for the Buffs as they look to shine in the next season. The 6’3 former Vanderbilt WR declared his commitment to Coach Prime and the Buffs today, according to an Instagram post. Following this declaration, Buffs star QB Shedeur Sanders dropped a message for the new commit, saying, “Legendary.”

The star QB isn’t the only one welcoming him to Colorado. Coach Prime’s recent 5-star commit Jordan Seaton also commented, “Rome wasn’t built in a day!” Will Sheppard was in the portal as one of the top WRs who played three seasons at Vandy, finishing with 2,067 yards and 21 touchdowns. Last season, he had 684 receiving yards and eight touchdowns.

Deion Sanders isn’t about to let the same blunders happen again. His debut season in Colorado was a rollercoaster ride as the Buffs suffered a dismal record of 68.9 yards per game. But that’s only the trailer of the success that is about to come.
As the No. 7 WR in the transfer portal, Will Sheppard’s presence in Colorado could make things easier for Shedeur Sanders. But aside from bagging the 4-star prospect, Coach Prime has also got former NC State WR Terrell Timmons to commit to Colorado. WRs Drelon Miller and Zycarl Lewis will also join the Buffs next year.
