Coach Prime is a proud father of three sons, all accomplished in their respective fields. Deion Sanders Jr. is having a well-off life as a social media genius, the one who is providing all the footage from the Colorado Buffaloes offseason. Shilo Sanders is an explosive defense player who appointed himself CEO of the Headache Gang. As for the youngest son, Shedeur Sanders, he is more than the talent we see on the football field as the Buffs star QB.

Deion Sanders never hides his take on his sons on social media, and he’s proud to talk about Shedeur Sanders’ maturity. He previously told Bleacher Report, “In my phone, [Shedeur’s] up under ‘grown.’ He’s very mature for his age. He’s always been calm, cool, and collected. Today’s incident sums up Coach Prime’s claims on Shedeur Sanders.

Shedeur Sanders coaches Deion Sanders off the field

In a Well Off Media upload on YouTube on April 20, Deion Sanders Jr. captures a seemingly casual indoor game between Coach Prime and Shedeur Sanders. After defeating his father twice in a row, the moral provided by Prime’s youngest son showcased his philosophical approach toward life. The Buffs quarterback isn’t only about winning on the football field, much like what his father preaches.

Coach Prime and Shedeur Sanders were hot against each other in an exciting game of Connect 4, where a player wins if they connect four of the same colors horizontally, vertically, and diagonally. After Coach Prime failed to beat him in the game despite his first defeat, Shedeur Sanders taught him a valuable lesson, saying, “See that’s the thing in life. You moving too fast. You need to slow down… Sometimes in life, you need to slow down. Hats off to the 22-year-old who already knows better than his dad to chill and take a break now and then! And despite the Buffs losing several players in the transfer portal, Coach Prime still finds his sons as a reason to stay confident.

Shedeur and Shilo Sanders become recruiting giants

Coach Prime’s sons aren’t relying just on the recruiting staff to lure potential players to Colorado. With the spring portal open, Shedeur Sanders and his safety brother are taking the recruiting reins in their hands, as Shilo Sanders posted on his IG story. He made it known that defensive players can reach out to him, and offensive transfers can reach out to Shedeur Sanders.

Deion Sanders is pleased with his sons’ recruiting venture and lauded them, saying, “I think the most prominent players at every program are probably your best recruiters. I wish you could have a conversation with Shedeur and just tell him to just show you his (DM) one time. You would not believe the kids that call him and call Shilo, because they’re high-profile young men. The Buffs are heading into the 2024 season with many high-profile players and the discipline Coach Prime has instilled in them all through the offseason could come in handy in their goal toward a CFP appearance.
